Meet Chris Layser
Role at Contegix: Consult, design, build and maintain customer enterprise network environments for data, voice and video- both on premise and in the data center (Wyomissing and Bethlehem, PA): routing/switching, collaboration, data center, and network edge security.
Your favorite thing about being in customer support: “Assisting customers in architecting resilient and scalable network solutions to alleviate pain points.”
Recent accomplishment: “Awarded the 2019 MA CAA Alumni Association Dissertation Award by the University of Wales TSD for the best Master’s Dissertation in completion of the MA in Cultural Astronomy.”
Fun Fact: “I spend several weeks each summer in Belize participating in archaeological excavation and digital mapping with the Maya Research Program. Plus, I have been a performing and studio bassist in the local music scene for, well, never mind for how long…"
